AX COIN BAHRAIN B.S.C. Closed (“AX Coin”), the regulated stablecoin issuer of Solowin Holdings (Nasdaq: AXG), and ARP Digital, a regulated digital capital infrastructure platform, today announced a strategic global collaboration to connect regulated stablecoin infrastructure with institutional OTC liquidity, payment and settlement rails across the GCC and international markets.
As the first licensed stablecoin issuer regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) and the world’s first Sharia-compliant stablecoin, AX Coin brings a fully regulated issuance and reserve infrastructure to the partnership. ARP Digital contributes its institutional OTC desk, on- and off-ramp conversion capabilities, and international corridor settlement rails. Together, the collaboration aims to bring AX Coin on-chain, enable greater interoperability with other stablecoin ecosystems, and deliver faster, more efficient, and compliant cross-border value movement for corporates, financial institutions, payment fintechs, and payment service providers.
The partnership will initially focus on Bahrain and the UAE, with plans to expand across additional markets and continents. Together, AX Coin and ARP Digital will support corporates, financial institutions, payment fintechs, PSPs and other institutional participants seeking faster, more efficient and compliant ways to move and settle value across borders.
Xavier George, Managing Director of AXG and CEO of AX Coin, said: “This collaboration brings together two critical pieces of the stablecoin ecosystem — regulated digital money and real-world payment and liquidity infrastructure. Our objective is to make AX Coin usable across the flows that corporates and payment fintechs already depend on, while enabling faster, more transparent and more cost-efficient cross-border settlement.”
Abdulla Kanoo, Co-Founder & Co-CEO of ARP Digital, commented: “ARP Digital was built to connect global digital capital with the financial rails of the GCC. Working with AX Coin allows us to combine our institutional liquidity and settlement capabilities with regulated stablecoin infrastructure and create practical use cases for businesses and payment providers. Together, we can help accelerate the adoption of stablecoins as a more efficient way to move value globally.”
