OpenSea Integrates With Perplexity Computer To Power Onchain Market Answers Admin CG August 28, 2026

OpenSea, one of the world’s largest digital asset platforms, today announced a partnership with Perplexity Computer, Perplexity’s agent platform. With the connector enabled, Perplexity draws on OpenSea’s onchain market data to answer users’ questions, surfacing the most-traded tokens over a given period, top assets by market activity, and other onchain signals sourced directly from OpenSea.

Perplexity Computer carries out multi-step tasks for its users and grounds its answers in real, cited data. With the OpenSea connector, Perplexity Computer can draw on OpenSea’s view of the onchain economy, spanning tokens, collectibles, and NFTs across 25+ chains. When a user asks what’s trading, gaining momentum, or drawing collectors, Perplexity can pull live data from OpenSea and cite it directly, going beyond price feeds to reflect what people are actually buying and trading onchain.

“Onchain markets are built for AI agents. Everything is open, live, and verifiable,” said Devin Finzer, co-founder and CEO of OpenSea. “People are already asking what’s moving onchain, and OpenSea in Perplexity Computer means those answers come straight from real marketplace activity, not from stale data or guesswork.”

“Onchain markets move too quickly for static answers,” said Jeff Grimes, Head of Live Events Products at Perplexity. “By bringing OpenSea’s real-time, cross-chain data into Perplexity Computer, users can ask what is moving across tokens and collectibles and get a current, cited answer grounded in actual market activity.”

The integration is an example of how OpenSea’s data can power AI products beyond its own platform, with more such integrations expected as agents take on a bigger role in how people navigate crypto.

The OpenSea connector is available now and can be enabled from the Connectors page in Perplexity Computer.
